Welcome to the online home of The Mountains in View, an outdoor adventure group for the Young Adults of Mountainview Community Christian Church.

We live in a state where the majesty of creation is right in our backyard. With all the modern conveniences at our fingertips, it is sometimes hard to muster up the energy or time to get out in the mountains that dominate our skyline. We believe nothing is more restorative or revealing than time spent in God’s creation.

This group is dedicated to making it easy and fun to get outdoors. We provide regular opportunities for you to adventure into the backcountry. Just a few examples are skiing, backpacking, and climbing a 14er. Whether you are an experienced outdoorsman or you’ve never set foot on a dirt trail before, this group is for you if you want to get out and experience God’s creation in its rawest form.
